Mr. Robert Henry Dupont

Mr. Henry Robert Dupont, 74 years old of Ridgeland, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at his residence surrounded with his wife and children.

Mr. Dupont received his education at the public schools in Jasper County.

At an early age he became a member of Saint Luke Baptist Church in Ridgeland, South Carolina. Mr. Dupont was employed at Sea Pines Golf Course for over 30 years, a job he loved and was a very diligent worker, he retired in 2021.

Mr. Dupont was always a man of good company, he would keep you laughing at or with him on speaking Spanish, because we had no ideal what he was saying. He wanted people to smile and have an enjoyable time.

Mr. Dupont leaves to cherish his memories to; his loving and devoted wife; Mary Strobert Dupont, three sons; James (Audrey) Strobert, Patrick (La’Dawndra) Dupont and Robert (Natalie) Dupont, one daughter; Irene (Ali) Bozier, seven brothers; Joe Lewis Williams, William Richard Dupont, Shelly Dupont, Earl (Akatha) Dupont, Harry (Barbara) Dupont, and Robert (Karen) Dupont, six sisters; Victoria Simmons, Betty (James) Hugue, Shirley Ann Gillison Dupont, Virginia (Lorenzo) Ansley, and Della Mae Polite, two brothers in law; Nathaniel (Vanessa) Strobert and Otis Devore, and Shirley Pearson, three sisters in law; Daisy Lawton, Shirley McCoy, and Mary Dupont,17 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

A Walk-Thru will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Bostick Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, South Carolina from 5-7 PM.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Saint Luke Baptist Church, 3048 Snake Road in Ridgeland, South Carolina at 11:00 AM.

Burial will take place at Grahamville Cemetery in Ridgeland, South Carolina.

Always remember to wear a mask, to protect others as well as yourself, mask works best when everyone wears one. A mask is not a substitute for social distancing, masks should be worn in addition to staying 6 feet apart, especially when indoors around people who do not live in your household.
