Deacon Randolph “BUTCH” Scott, Sr.

Deacon Randolph “Butch” Scott, Sr., 68 years old of Garnett, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. He was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church where he served faithfully as a member of the Usher Board and Senior Choir. Mr. Scott served the Lord faithfully and the church ordain him as a Deacon back in 2007, he had such a loved for singing as well, in fact he had joined the gospel group called “Four

Gospel Singers” of Garnett, South Carolina for twelve years praising the Lord.

Butch as affectionately called by his family and friends was a 32 degree Mason with the Cradle Simmons Consistory for many years. In his spare time Butch had a love for farming and animals.

Butch leaves his love to: His loving wife; Alice W. Scott, Six children; Randolph (Keisha) Scott, Jr., Margaret (Robert) Henderson, Marvin Scott, Sandra Scott, Lee Rice, Chekita (Chris) Goodson, Fifteen Grandchildren and Three Great Grandchildren, His mother in law; Edith Wilson, One sister; Sarah Slaughter, Five brothers; Gussie Scott, Jr., John Alexander Scott, Joseph Scott, Calvin (Annabelle) Scott and John Henry (Melinda) Scott, One uncle; Sam (Gladys) Thompson, Two aunts; Hattie White and Annie Mae Thompson, Two brothers in law; Steve and Leon Wilson, Six sisters in law; Jannie (Marvin) Bowers, Marjorie (Cecil) Shuman, Lena Baldeagle, Helen Green, Hattie Simmons and Pricilla Reed, A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and loving friends.

Mr. Nathaniel “Nate” Green, Jr.

Mr. Nathaniel Eugene Green, Jr.  56 years old formerly of Hardeeville, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020 in Minnesota. Nathaniel was the son of Eliza Ford Green and the late Nathaniel Eugene Ford, Sr… He moved to Detroit at a very young age with his family back in the 60’s where he lived until moving back to Hardeeville, South Carolina in the 80’s. Nate joined the United States Navy at the age of seventeen where he served for four years with an Honorable Discharge as a Yeoman 3rd Class on November 26, 1985. Nate worked for Hennepin Methodist Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota for many years until his departure of life. Nate leaves behind; his mother; Mrs. Eliza Ford, his sister; Kimberly Green, two brothers; Isaac (Veria) Green and Bernard Green, uncles; Sammy (Virginia) Ford, Kenneth (Gloria) Ford, Richard Ford and Albert Ford, aunties; Shirley Wright and Catherine Ford, one great uncle; Earl Marsh and Eva Green, nephews; Jed, Josh, Mekiel, nieces; Blaire, Kia, Megan, Lil Sed, Aaliyah, Skyler and M.J. Two special people; Kenneth Ford and Vanessa Brown. A host of cousins, other relatives and friends.  

IN LIGHT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC: It is being recommended by the South Carolina Morticians Association Inc., to encourage families to have a graveside service with a small gathering of family and friends.  A PRIVATE BURIAL WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER DATE.
