Mr. Edwin “Pee Wee” Garvin, 63 years old of Pineland, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville, South Carolina.
Edwin attended and graduated from Ridgeland High School as a part of the Class of 1975, and served as Vice President of the class. He also attended Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina. He was employed and retired as an Assistant Store Manager at Food Lion for many years. In 1975, Edwin met the girl of his dreams, Patricia Youmans. They were married on April 22, 1978 and raised two beautiful daughters.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020; 11:00 AM at Gillison Branch Baptist Church (gathering on the outside of church) in Pineland, South Carolina.
Burial will take place at Gillison Branch Cemetery in Pineland, South Carolina.
He leaves to cherish his beautiful memories: a loving wife of 42 years, Patricia Y. Garvin, Pineland, SC; daughters, Quadulyn and Shadane Garvin, both of Pineland, SC; his beautiful mother; Mrs. Betty K. Garvin of Pineland, SC, sisters, Carolyn (Terry) Brice, White Plains, NY and Betty Jean (John) Smalls, St. Helena Island, SC; brothers, Alexander Garvin, Pineland, SC and Elmer Jr. (Sandy) Garvin, White Plains, NY; aunts, Vera Wilson and Van Johnson, both of Providence, RI, Jackie Randolph, White Plains, NY, Annie Lair King, Ridgeland, SC, Louise Garvin, Fayetteville, NC, Irene and Eunice King, both of NY; uncles, Earl (Emma) Garvin, Eden, NC and Harold (Chris) Garvin, White Plains, NY; sisters-in-law, Hithena (Clarence) Segars, Buffalo, NY and Joyce Holly, Connecticut; brothers-in-law, Warren (Brenda) Youmans, Bronx, NY, Kenneth (Barbara) Youmans, Nixville, SC and Morris Lawyer, TyBranch, SC; five grandchildren, Desjon Fraser, Jabien Harris, ILynn Harris, Dallis Spencer and Kyis Spencer, all of Pineland, SC; one great grand, Maison A. Fraser, Point South, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins along with other relatives and friends.
