Sammie leaves behind his loving wife: Amanda S. Ford, his children, Lateesha, Sammeha and Marteena Ford, his mother whom predeceased him in death; Martha Chisolm Martin, his dad and stepmom; Sammie “Tommy” (Mary) Ford, Sr., his father and mother in law; Melvin (Marla) Myers, One Grandson; Allante Jordan Ford, his siblings; Shelia (Rickey) Mack, Shawn Martin, Jamie Martin, Deena Graham, Santonio (Nicole) Ford, LaDonna (Darren) Babbs, LaShica (Jody) Stewart, Ashley Ford and Michelle (Quinton) Brown along with a host of Aunts, Uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
