Mr. Robert Earl Washington, 74 years old of Ridgeland, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at his residence.

In 1976, Mr. Washington, met and married the love of his life Josephine Willis Washington, who preceded him in death. Mr. Washington was known for being there for his family and friends. He was a jack of all trades, held many jobs and task before he became paraplegic, but he never let that stop him from things like fishing, being a handyman or being a fruit man. He always made sure he never left anything undone if he started.

Mr. Washington leaves to cherish his fond memories; his dog; “Hard Time”, seven daughters; Joset Singleton, Denise (Charles) Frazier, Carolyn, Blanche and Jeannette Daniels, Lillie Mae Young and Glenda Daniels, four sons; Alfonizo, Sr. (ShawnKielya) Washington, Ricky, Sr. (Celeste) Daniels, Michael (Catherine) Daniels, Nathaniel (Sandra) Daniels, Charles, Sr.(Nora) Daniels, A special grandson; A’shaun Kemp, Jr., four sisters; Annie Washington, Nancy Simmons, Carolzenia Grady, Carolyn Ruth, five brothers; Harold Washington, Joseph ( Corinne) Washington, Burgess Washington, James ( Edna) Washington and John Henry (Brenda) Washington, two brothers in law; Joseph Kemp and Adolph Kemp,  Special friends; Shelia Washington, Willie Mae Toomer, Michelle Toomer, Harry Toomer, Jr., and Alvin Harris, Special nieces; Latronda Jeannette (Ransom) Dunham, Sr., and Burgena Washington, Thirty-four plus Grandchildren, Forty Great Grandchildren. A host of last cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Third cousins; Thomas Heyward, Derrick Heyward and Anthony Miller.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2020 at 12:00 Noon located at Roseland Cemetery in Ridgeland, South Carolina

 

Considering the COVID-19 Pandemic, it is recommended by the South Carolina Mortician Association, Inc., to encourage families to have a graveside service with a small gathering of family and friends.
