Mr. Frederick Richardson, Sr., 81 years old of Ridgeland, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at his residence. Freddie  was a hard worker all his life, after finishing high school he went on to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to work, he returned home to South Carolina after a few years and married his lifelong partner Gave Ella Alston. After marriage, and to their blessing God gave them two sons, Frederick, Jr. and (Michael Anthony) whom preceded them in death, Freddie went on and secured a job with South Carolina Department of Transportation so he can provide for his family.

When Freddie wasn’t working he would always have time for his family and friends, whether it was fishing or just hanging out with them. He had a full life of being a loving husband, devoted father and a dependable friend, he was a man of excellence, and you would only know that if you knew him. Freddie had a smile; a laugh and a voice in a way that made you feel better just by him being in your presence.

Freddie’s memories will always be cherished by his devoted wife of sixty-one years; Gave Ella Richardson, Two sons; Freddie Richardson, Jr., and Alphonso Howard, One sister; Betty Green, his granddaughter; Kamniel Richardson, One grandson; Jerika Simmons, Four great grandchildren; Kimani, Jordan, Zion and Semyra, One nephew; Leroy Green, Jr. and Two nieces; Cheryl Green-Worlds and Karla Green, along with a host cousins, other relatives and friends.

 

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, August 3, 2020 at Grahamville Cemetery in Ridgeland, South Carolina at 11:00am

 

 

 

Considering the COVID-19 Pandemic, it is recommended by the South Carolina Mortician Association, Inc. to encourage families to have a graveside service with a small gathering of family and friends.
